    I repacked the extended safety on my 1911 Nighthawk Comander size because the holster retention strap would place the safety in fire position. Fixed the problem. Had to file to fit. Does not leave a hole exposed on my gun frame as stated in other reviews.

    Agree With "Beautiful But Flawed."

    I have the same problem as the previous reviewer. The safety leaves a bit of the hole in the frame exposed when the safety is engaged. I guess it bothers me more, however, so I am rating it three stars. I expected that the Wilson Combat part would fit as least as well as the factory Colt part, but was disappointed.

    Beautiful, But Flawed

    Very easy to fit to my SAI TRP with about a dozen swipes of the file. Gorgeously finished in a semi-gloss blue. Deducting one star because the safety leaves the hole in the frame slightly exposed when the safety is engged.
