    Solid Thumb Safety

    Nice upgraded safety to my bul tac lite. I wanted a little wider pad and when paired with the wilson plunger spring kit, I got a tighter engagement of the safety. Took some filing but was manageable with a small file kit.

    It Was Easy And Great Construction.

    I was very apprehensive to buy and DIY the safety but the safety fit with very little filing. It took me longer to disassemble my pistol than to replace the safety. The safety is bullet proof construction. All my 1911 needs will be from Wilson from now on.

    Dropped Right In The Springfield Emp 3 9 Mm

    You may notice I also have a review in on the tactical thumb safety. I purchased both for my Springfield 3 inch EMP. If you are looking for a thumb safety and you have a Springfield EMP a word to the wise, Spend the extra money get the bulletproof parts. Just like the tactical thumb safety this one dropped right in with no additional fitting necessary. I really liked the way the wide lever safety felt in the hand, Arming and disarming it felt as easy as breathing, but as an every day carry the tactical lever was a better fit for me. So this one was installed on my full-size Springfield 1911 45 and works like a champ.
