In my first review, I thought this Barrel was going to be a real shooter. Since then I have tried everything, my best hand loads, premium factory, different bullets, different powders, you name it. Barrel will shoot the odd ball 3/4 inch group at 100, but that is rare. Normal is about 1 1/4 inch or so groups at 100 with 168 or 175 SMK bullets and Lapua Brass with Varget , RX15 or 4064, dosent seem to matter much on the combination. Other Bullets are way worse. Very frustrating Barrel, going back to the Factory Seekins Barrel on SP-10
Hi everyone, this barrel is awesome!! I would recommend it. I’d like to personally thank Kent and Quentin for helping me out. I ran into some feeding issues while building my Lr-308 rifle. The barrel itself ran like a champ even though initially I had feeding issues. Kent was great to talk to; he was very professional and super knowledgeable. Definitely have a Customer for life right here. I recommend these guys. I purchased the barrel, the bolt carrier group, gas tube and gas block from Wilson Combat. Great products!
First, the Barrel was shipped the same day I ordered it. When it showed up the packaging was second to none, the way a Barrel should be shipped. Installation was as simple as it gets on my Seekins upper. At the range it is very consistent right at 1/2 MOA at 100 and 200 yds with my 175 SMK handloads. Only have around 50 rds through it, but early indications are a Barrel that really wants to shoot. I bought it because of Bill Wilson's reputation and he did not disappoint, Thank You Wilsons!!
I build ar10 with Wilson combat barrel, I feel the accuracy and quality is first few shoot. Also, if you setup with Guntec USA stell multi port compensator, really match steel color and barrel shape. I’m highly recommend to who build quality gun and thanks for the Wilson combat stuff.
My second Wilson Combat barrel and it is outstanding. Makes a casual shooter look good. Easy 1/2 moa at 100 yds. with a little focus.
