A Wilson Combat Bullet Proof square bottom firing pin stop for the .45 ACP caliber 1911 is the perfect addition.

A Wilson Combat square bottom firing pin stop for the .45 ACP caliber is the perfect addition to any handgun. This part is designed specifically for a 70 series handgun and is made from Bullet Proof bar stock steel, ensuring it will stand up to whatever you throw at it. Crafted from sturdy tool steel, this slightly oversized firing pin stop will reduce any excessive extractor motion. Its bottom is left untouched to help you adjust the slide's recoil according to your liking. To cater for heavier loads, a light bevel should be added on its face; or if shooting lighter loads then increase the degree of that same bevel.

When it comes to high-performance handguns, Wilson Combat® Bullet Proof® parts are unrivaled in terms of quality, craftsmanship and cost. Each component is skillfully CNC machined from solid steel billet for a precise and perfect fit; castings or substandard imported injection molded parts will never use the Bullet Proof® name. Invest in Bullet Proof® parts with full assurance they are free of any defects or breakage - a guarantee that can't be beaten! We offer the strongest warranty and highest quality parts in the industry.

    Best Modification I’Ve Performed On A 10Mm 1911

Posted by Richard Mondor on Dec 17th 2020

This without a doubt is my favorite 1911 addition as a Reloader. My 10mm used to launch cases 25-30’ but didn’t want to use heavy recoil spring that’d batter the slide. This and a 30# main spring has brass collecting in a nice tight group 10’ away and smoothed out recoil significantly.

Always A Drop-In Fit For Kimber 1911 With 70S Style Trigger System

These have been great add in to my earlier classic Kimber guns and their polymer versions. The square bottom allows lighter mainsprings to be used.
