Wilson Combat

For a compact and concealable version of the classic beavertail grip safety, the concealment version is sure to be your go-to choice. With enhanced ergonomics and a refined design, this version is tailored to deliver a perfect fit in any 1911 frame.

Our Bullet Proof® version of the classic beavertail safety is machined from a high-grade steel bar stock that eliminates any flaws or imperfections present in many mass produced cast and molded parts. The Wilson compound joint radius makes fitting easy, while the modified grip safety arm provides convenient disassembly. Additionally, this minimized part features an aesthetically pleasing sculpted rear grip tang to ensure complete concealment, as well as a raised palm swell on the back end for improved grip safety release - making it an ideal choice for custom builds focused on overall compactness.

  • Blued carbon steel
  • Concealment
  • Blued
  • Must be paired with a concealment hammer for compatibility (part #337BC, #337SC)
  • For best results, use our fitting jig, part #402

DISCLAIMER: Wilson Combat 1911 small parts may require minor fitting and should only be installed by a qualified gunsmith. Although these parts are intended to be drop-in, due to the range of tolerances between various manufacturers' handguns, some fitting may occasionally be necessary. We highly recommend all fitting/installation of small parts is done by a professional gunsmith.

    Outstanding product

I had my gunsmith install one of these concealment beavertails on a 1979 as new Colt Government Model retro gun and it is just the right size to protect the web of your hand and yet conceals easily even under a light shirt. Great product! I just ordered another one!

I learned a lot watching you do this build ! All through this build I kept thinking why doesnt this guy just by a Wilson ! I learned what to look for when buying a used gun ! I have thought about taking up the art of gun smithing but at the age of 55 , I think we will just keep it to a personal hobby ! But thank you for taking the time to share your build with us ! I look forward to the next build you do !
