    Frame Modification Is Required

    I intended to put this B/P High Grip Modification Safety on my Springfield Ronin 1911 pistol and it did in fact fit the tang radius perfectly. However, as the warning states, frame modification is required. The safety sits so high in the frame, that it is actually recessed within the frame profile where the web of your shooting hand is located. This presents sharp edges to the sensitive fleshy web of your hand and requires significant grinding of that part of the pistol frame to make this safety useable. I chose to not use the High Modification Grip Safety and instead am keeping it in my parts inventory for possible future use. The quality of the part though is top notch premium.
