    Highest Quality

Posted by Bob on Aug 10th 2012

I will not use the original magazines supplied by manufacturers of model 1911 pistols. They are thrown away and I replace them with only Wilson magazines. No failures to feed, consistent function and the highest quality available. I recommend them to all my friends, and I will contine buying only Wilson magazines. The black color is great to have to match my black pistol Kimber Super Carry Pro HD, and the low profile base pad works perfectly for concealed carry. You cannot go wrong with Wilson magazines - I have been using them for over 30 years now.

Tough Break In, But Worth It

Posted by Anonymous on May 24th 2011

I bought four of these magazines for use in my Wiley Clapp Commander after noticing a slight scratch below the slide stop after using the stock magazines. Although initially difficult to load and having to let them set fully loaded for a month due to stiff springs and sticky followers, I could load them by hand after one trip to the range. In 200 rounds between four magazines I had no failures using WWB and Federal Champion ammunition. The follower always locked the slide back after the last round and more importantly, my alloy frame has suffered no more scratches.
