Great Part
I like the Bullet Proof slide release/slide stop but I chose this part because I liked the traditional look. You may have to clean up some casting marks on the back as I did, but it’s really not a big deal to me. That’s the only reason for 4 stars. After cleaning up, the part dropped into my Colt Competition and has worked great. This part is more “beefy” than the corresponding Colt part, which is why I like it better.

Great Product, Just Be Careful Of The Sharp Edges.
I purchased this to replace the MIM part on my new 1911, and it did directly replace the factory release, just be prepared to use a stone to break some of the sharp edges that the release has on it.
