The advanced technology Xtreme Defense Fluid Transfer Monolithic (XD FTM) is changing the way self-defense bullets are perceived. This bullet is optimal for use in 9mm Luger and .350 Legend loads.
Please note that these are bullets (projectiles) only for reloading. This product is not loaded ammunition that is ready to use in a firearm.
The advanced technology Xtreme Defense Fluid Transfer Monolithic (XD FTM) is changing the way self-defense bullets are perceived. Like the Xtreme Penetrator, the progressive nose geometry allows for deep, straight penetration while creating a permanent wound cavity diameter exceeding that of most expanding bullets. Additionally, the bullet is solid copper, able to overcome barriers to penetration, is environmentally friendly and does massive tissue damage on impact. Penetrating barriers such as drywall or heavy clothing prior to impacting the intended target doesn’t have the potentially negative effect on the Xtreme Defense that it does to conventional hollow point bullets.
The nose design is the key. The Fluid Transfer’s radial flutes force the hydraulic energy inward and then as the energy is restricted, it accelerates outward creating high pressure spikes severely damaging surrounding tissue. This very rapid increase in fluid flow creates cavitation and massive tissue damage away from the projectile equivalent to those of the best hollow points on the market. The result of the Xtreme Defense is a permanent wound cavity that is two to four times greater than what a flat or round nose bullet generates and often larger than traditional or solid copper expanding bullets. What you get is a self-defense bullet that will shoot through barriers without deformation or trajectory change and creates a larger permanent wound cavity coupled with the desired 18 inches of penetration.
Xtreme Defense bullets are currently available in the following caliber diameters: .312, .355, .357, .400, .410, .429, .451, .452, and .458.
Solid copper Xtreme Defense bullets meet the criteria of states and jurisdictions calling for lead free projectiles.

The best in my EDC rigs
Whether it is my Sig P365 X Macro or it's my 1911 double stacks (Staccato CS, Bul Armory SAS II UL 3.25), this ammo has extreme accuracy and if loaded on the lighter side, super easy for fast follow-up shots. It performs well then short barrels and feeds well in the 1911.

9mm 118 grain Xtreme Defense
I loaded a few of these for my Sig Sauer P365. I couldn't be more impressed with the accuracy! Using the provided load data, I was able to load ammunition that has the tightest groupings I've ever had from a pistol. From 21 feet (the max standard distance for CCW certification in my state) I had several rounds with overlapping holes, and the total group wasn't more than six inches in total diameter. I will definitely be getting and loading more!

One shot - One kill
Used in a 350 legend shot out of my AR, Bear Creek Arsenal Upper with 16" barrel, 1-16" twist barrel, Win Brass, Win SRP, Accurate Enforcer near max load from Hodgdon Reloading online. Second day of the season took a nice wide 7 point at 95 yards. Impact velocity would have been around 2215fps/1285fpe. Hard quartering away shot and the bullet path was arrow straight. Broke 3 ribs on the entrance side, lungs-heart-lungs and exited the very tip of the off shoulder at the base of the neck. The lungs had massive hemorrhage/hematoma throughout all the lungs. Ran 40 yards and was done. Super impressed. And will be used for all my future white tail and smaller hunts.

118 Xtreme Defense Projectiles
For those looking for a good projectile to cover either their Hunting or Defense needs in a 9mm load, this may just be the ticket. The projectile along with a modest load of the appropriate powder can produce a soft recoiling load that will be subsonic, therefore reducing a hunters signature in the field, and substantially reducing an awareness to additional animals in the field. A hunter can use this combination to eradicate pest's, where it's law full , but not necessarily good to disturb neighbors , and achieve the best of both worlds... keeping peace in and between neighbors, and yet destroying those varmints causing destruction on land owners property...

Good in 350 Legend
Bought a few boxes of these to load and take hunting this winter for the 350 legend (bolt action). After using their load data provided (went with H110) I was able to shoot sub-MOA at 100 yards and roughly 2 inch group at 200 yards. Also had no feeding issues whatsoever. Only downside is the price fluctuation depending on where you buy them. That could still be due to the S&D that's been going on for the past 2 years. I definitely overpaid on other sites due to availability to ensure I had enough to go hunting this winter. All in all I would recommend these for the 350 legend in a bolt action.

happy so far
using in a 350 legend shot out of my ar, 18", 1-16" twist barrel, win. brass, win. s.r.p.'s. used lehigh's load data for my loads. 4 shot groups h110 3 loads patterned just under 3" and almost didn't shoot the last load due to those patterns. i'm glade i did shoot the 4th grp(h110 30gr) because 4 shots touched at .601" and @ 2721 fps! no signs of pressure at the primer which shows quick with winchester primers. i also tried lil'gun with simular results. 3 loads lil'gun 27.9gr-2.463", 28.2gr-.832"@2694 fps and 28.5gr-1.974". it might be a coincidence that with 2 different powders the best groups were both in the 2700 fps range? planning on hunting deer with this rifle/bullet combo. the minimum velocity impact suggested being 750 fps made me wonder, what is the range of my rifle/ammo combo? sounds crazy but 500+yrds! i wanted to see what it would actually do at that velocity and found lehigh's video of a 9mm loaded with a 90gr XD bullet shot into ballistics gel, very impressive! by the way no failure to feeds.
