Just finally got around to reviewing this due to fully testing this barrel out in my rifle.
Put this barrel on my Daniel Defense M4 V11 Pro. The accuracy is a improvement over the cold forged Daniel Defense barrel which was already very good. Excellent fit and finish.
Honestly, just buy it. Stop thinking and go with it, you'll be happy.
This barrel is AMAZING! Lots of thought and study went into the selection of a barrel for my M4 build. Very happy with my selection of this barrel. It shoots anything you feed it and does so with extreme accuracy. 5 and 10 shot groups are ragged bullet holes. Had a lot of 50-55 grain bullets on the reloading bench shelf. Not to worry, the 1-8 twist handles them well. Love the slightly longer and heavier barrel than the standard AR. It's still a very compact and easy to handle firearm. The rifle length gas port makes for very smooth cycling. Compared to friend's AR platform guns, this one is more accurate and smoother shooting. Paired this barrel with a Wilson Combat Nickel Boron coated BCG and they perform flawlessly together. Am I happy with this barrel? Oh ya! Would put this on another gun? In a heartbeat!
Started off about one inch 5 shot when new.after about 100 shots started shooting 3/4 inch ,5 shot.i think with more break in and better load development it will become a one holer.copper has been lite.fit and finish is excellent.beautifully crafted barrel.
