Sentinel
One of the things you can be absolutely certain of when you buy a Wilson Combat® firearm is that you are purchasing reliability. Our Sentinel® model comes with this same guarantee, plus maximum concealability. The Sentinel® is a precisely engineered 9mm with a scant 7.25" overall length, weighing in at only 32 ounces fully loaded and ready to fire. We developed a 3.6" bull barrel for the Sentinel® with a tapered cone to concentrate as much weight as possible towards the muzzle, and coupled this with a full-length guide rod. The Sentinel® has cocking serrations on the rear of the slide and carry cuts at the front of the slide.

Sentinel XL
All seasoned concealed carriers know one simple fact-the grip of any handgun is always the most difficult part to conceal. Wilson Combat has combined our 4" Compact top end with our exclusive Sentinel sub-compact frame to create a unique everyday carry custom handgun-the Sentinel XL. The Sentinel XL has the smallest 1911 grip available with the enhanced practical accuracy and reliability a Compact slide offers.
The reduced height Sentinel frame is ½" shorter than our standard Compact and when mated with the ultra slim G-10 grips is well suited to shooters who prefer a smaller handgun. The concealment grip safety/hammer and round butt mainspring housing selected for the Sentinel XL gives you a real advantage when it comes to daily carry and shooting comfort.
Even though the Sentinel XL is designed for concealment, the precisely fitted slide, frame and 4" match grade barrel will give you the downrange performance you expect from a Wilson Combat custom pistol. A host of practical and cosmetic touches will make this one of your favorite carry guns.

The Sentinel Compact merges our shortest slide fighting pistol, the Sentinel, with the frame of our compact 1911 series handguns. The result is a pistol designed for accurate shooting and easy concealment. The S.D.S. is the answer we provided. It includes the best of several of our models, enhanced with a 4 1/16" version of the hand-fit, heavy-flanged cone match-grade barrel pioneered on our Tactical Elite, and a frame shortened by ½" with 7-round capacity. The slide length is reduced by a full inch from a standard-length 1911, giving you a speed advantage in target acquisition with the shorter sighting plane. The shorter frame S.D.S. with the accompanying short slide gives you the maximum concealability available with outstanding accuracy and successive shot recovery.
