In celebration of forty years of building the world’s finest custom handguns, we have issued a limited run of a special commemorative CQB Elite model for 2017. This all-steel model uses the latest Wilson Combat parts and innovations like our in-house produced forged slides, frames, and barrels. These all-steel pistols are designed as carry guns and also feature our one-piece machined magwell, ambidextrous safety and slide top and rear serrations. The flush cut, reverse crowned barrel is deeply fluted and mates with a specially engraved, recessed reverse plug. Black Armor-Tuff is the standard finish.
The special grips on this model are handcrafted, premium desert ironwood with solid sterling silver medallions. The quality of this rare wood and its fit and finish are exceptional.

There will only be forty one box sets available for purchase, exclusively through our select dealers. These pieces are bestowed with other cosmetic and performance options, and this heirloom quality set will be at home in the finest firearm collections for generations.
Appointed with never before available features, the Fortieth Anniversary Supergrade 1911 in .45 ACP is the centerpiece of the collection. Praised for their exceptional quality and sought for their scarcity, the Supergrade represents our finest work and commitment to our rich history in the refinement of the 1911. This very special Supergrade is adorned with Mammoth Ivory Grips by Dan Chinnock, a silver bead front sight and has been given a high polished Baron blue finish with silver inlays. The word "Supergrade" is inlaid on the right side of the slide, the Wilson Combat logo inlaid behind the right rear cocking serrations, with “40 Years of Tradition" inlaid on the left side.
The fortieth anniversary EDC X9 is representative of the innovative spirit of Wilson Combat. Our latest and most ambitious project to date, the EDC X9 meets the needs of modern shooting applications while maintaining the history and refinement of the classic 1911. This exclusive EDC X9 is the paragon of innovation with its polished stainless slide, gold bead front sight, and gold inlaid markings on the slide. The words "EDC X9" are inlaid by Baron on the right side of the slide, the Wilson Combat logo inlaid on the top, and “40 Years of Innovation" inlaid on the left.
Included in the set is our Out the Front knife by Hogue, representing our commitment to being on the cutting edge of weapon technology. This special knife has polished flats for a unique two tone look, X-TAC grip pattern as found on our EDC X9, and “Forty Years of Cutting Edge" laser engraved on the blade. Rounding out the collection is our two piece challenge coin set and our presentation quality, custom fit shadow box.
